How to Support Austin's Local Businesses After SXSW Cancellation

The City of Austin has cancelled the March dates for SXSW and SXSW EDU. To learn more, please visit SXSW.com

Despite the cancellation of SXSW Conference & Festivals in March 2020, Austinites and friends of the community from around the world are coming together to support the musicians, service and hospitality industry workers, event producers, small businesses and others affected.

Austin will still play host to hundreds of unofficial events during March 13-23, 2020. Coinciding with Spring Break, visitors this March can expect to experience Austin's iconic live music scene, along with world-class film and art, cutting edge innovation and unparalleled food and nightlife. Discover the heartbeat of Austin in our local music venues, bars, restaurants and small businesses; and get to know the hospitality industry staff who make it all happen.
